The Juvenile Medical Services (JMS) program provides health services to youth detained in the Sacramento County Youth Detention Facility. On site staff include physicians, nurses, dentist, dental hygienist, pharmacist, pharmacy technician and clerical staff.
The mission of Juvenile Medical Services is to provide high quality healthcare services to detained minors by ensuring effective and efficient service delivery in collaboration with Sacramento County Probation Department and its disciplines, and Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) divisions and community service agencies.
